About Us
Calvary Chapel Bible Institute (CCBI) is based in Reporoa on the North Island of New Zealand. Our Bible College is a venture in faith, in partnership with Calvary Chapel Hamilton.
Calvary Chapel Bible Institute New Zealand follows the distinctives of Calvary Chapel in seeking to encourage, equip, and train the saints for the work of the ministry through the verse by verse exposition of the scriptures. Our curriculum is arranged around the exegetical exposition of the scriptures, focusing upon the teaching of entire books of the Bible rather than topical studies.
We are an independent and autonomous campus, affiliated with the family of Calvary Chapel Bible colleges world-wide. Our supreme desire is to know Christ and to make Him known, being conformed into His image by the power of the Holy Spirit and to support and under gird the local church across the Pacific Rim. We offer a 2 year, 4 semester Bible study programme, designed to feed, strengthen and equip those who have a heart to live for and to serve the Lord Jesus Christ in Ministry. Our programme is also suitable for those who wish to just spend one or two semesters delving deeply into the word of God. We are part of the wider fellowship of Calvary Chapel Bible Colleges worldwide and accept transfer students on that basis.
We offer a leadership intern programme, of varying duration, in conjunction with CCBI, Calvary Chapels in New Zealand and local Christian ministries. Please contact us for further details of our intern program.
