"Ask of me and I will give you the nations as an inheritance and the ends of the earth for your possession Psalm 2:8"

Over the last eight years, Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific Rim have been on my heart, and as my heart is for discipleship, I have always wanted to start and develop a school of discipleship and ministry in this region of the World. To invest in believers and seeing young men and women raised up to go and to plant churches, taking the gospel to this "end of the earth".

Over these 8 years and as a result of many trips to the region God has knit my heart together with many brothers and sisters, especially Steve Jones, Pastor of Calvary Chapel of Hamilton and Scott Clifford, Pastor of Calvary Chapel of Rotorua. We have realised that we have the same heart and together we have formed the Psalm 2:8 Trust as legally recognised body, in order to start Calvary Chapel Bible Institute of New Zealand.

As part of the wider fellowship of Calvary Chapel Bible Schools, our focus will be to teach the whole word and the whole counsel of God, believing firmly that God's mechanism for preparing the heart of man, is God's word, in the hand of the Holy Spirit, accomplishing the work of God. Our aim is to open for our first full semester, in the Rotorua region in September 2010.
